Amber and Maggie
|
Hi! My name is Krissa and this is my "Princess Maggie". I am a lampworker and a jewelry designer and I have loved beads and jewelry ever since I can remember. I used to love to play in my grandmothers and my mothers jewelry boxes and it didn't matter if my clothes were dirty, tattered or my hair in a mangled mess, I always felt beautiful with all those jewels on (I STILL like to play in my mother's jewelry box, hehe). That still holds true today! I don't think there is a day that goes by that I don't have a least one piece on.
I also am the mother of 3 boys ages, 20, 18 and 7. My oldest two are in college and doing great. We miss them terribly but at least they aren't to far away and come home to visit as much as they can. I miss all the noise and commotion that a family of 6 can make, well sometimes, at least. During the Holidays and the summers that they are home, we are one big, happy family again.
Thanks for viewing my "About Me Page". I hope that you will also visit my website for more handmade lampwork beads and findings.
It is with a VERY heavy heart that I share new about the passing of our wonderful furbaby, Amber. We had to end her suffering on Tues. night. There's not enough room on the internet to tell everyone how wonderful she was. We miss her terribly. I had the need to write a poem about her. I hope this tells you a little about her:
Amber Storyntil we meet again
You came into our lives a shattered little spirit With a needing plea in your eyes. Ragged and thin, thrown out like the trash That no one seemed to need anymore
We took you in, not knowing your plight Whether you would live or die Taking it minute by minute and day by day For surely we needed to try
You gained your strength, we gained your trust And forever a bond was made Standing proud to guard your family Gently accepting those that we said were okay
You protected my children, two families at a time Never asking for more than you were due Accept to throw a ball or two A scratch on the head or a comfortable pillow
We laid you to rest today and buried you in the yard Where we can see you each and every day For in our hearts you will always be Until we meet again one day/P>
We love you and miss you
