Vaden, founder of Wildlife Artistry and
a former
museum taxidermist and Natural History Curator of 8 years, has been trusted by
major zoological parks and museums world wide with their
rarest of specimens. He is devoted to recapturing the natural beauty of each sp
ecimen he works on .
Michael Vaden's Wildlife Artistry is internationally recognized for its
expertise in exotic as well as native species.
Michael has been practicing taxidermy for 16 years but has been a life long student of nature. He has won numerous awards for his birds on state, national, and world competitions. Hours are spent perfecting each mount making sure every feather is in it's proper place showing precision and originality.
Michael Vaden's passion for animals and their beauty, has led him to a hobby of keeping an exotic collection of live birds in his own private aviaries. Pictured at right side with Michael, is Savannah, his first African Pie Crow. Some of his other exotics are kookaburros, Rollers, hornbills, several different species of pheasants, and quail.
With an emphasis on birds, whether it be bird watching, bird collecting, or just taking care of his own collection of live birds at home, Michael has had a life-long fascination and passion for birds. This shows in the quality and realism of his mounts.
