I grew up the daughter of a blue collar worker who was a dreamer and like my parents, I continually challenge myself with goals and dreams.  My parents provided me with the Barbies they could afford at the time but I always dreamed of the Barbie Dream house even though I don't think I every asked for it for Christmas.  Maybe in my own way I knew they couldn't afford it.  My mom like many of your moms made lots of clothes for my Barbies.  She would use left over fabric from clothing she had made for us to wear and our Barbies would be matching us.  I began collecting Barbie accessories when I was about 18 or 20 years old.  My mom thought it was silly but I told her this was an investment.  She laughed and said " you mean a return to childhood!"

I collected all of the items I had always wanted including the dream houses.  I'm not much for collecting Boxed dolls but I do have some.  About six years ago my husband mentioned the huge size my collection so I started reorganizing the many boxes.  I had 1/3 of a spare bedroom for items I was not parting with and the other 2/3 for items to give up.  I did some research on eBay and here we are today.

By trade I am a retired florist & floral designer.  I realized my dreams and goals and operated a local florist for many years.  Since the closing of my flowershop I helped with the family business until it closed and then opened my own eBay store.  My current job is with a newspaper.

My hobbies are clay sculpture, floral design, genealogy, wildlife photography & working with our black labs in the Ultimate Air Dogs.  I still collect Barbie accessories (filling in the blanks) and I am an avid collector of antique newspapers.  My favorite time of the year is Halloween.  I love creating new Barbie size items and as I say "to scare the daylights out of you, LOL!".  From time to time I indulge in clay sculpture and create some new Barbie size food to put in my store.  My time is limited since I went to work for the newspaper, but I still try.  I do take special orders,  as well as, wish lists from my customers.  So if you are searching for something in particular, feel free to contact me with your wants and above all have fun shopping!!
