Welcome to Willow Ridge Primitives

Hello and welcome to WillowRidgePrimitives. My name is Mary Schild Oosterheert. I am a self taught primitive folk artist. I have always loved dabbling in the arts, taking and accelerating in all the art and home economics classes I could squeeze in in school. My mother sewed all our clothes as kids and still sews most of her own. She has also done a lot of needlework & ceramics in her day and I'd say she was a big inspiration in my love of art and needlework. I have to say I do not sew clothes however. I can make up my own patterns for crafts, but when I try to follow a purchased pattern of any kind it never turns out somehow.

 

I've been terribly busy this past year (2008) so I have been absent from ebay for a bit. In the meantime I have set up a shop at Lemon Poppy Seeds which I am still working on perfecting.
