Hello eBayer!

Carol here, from CarolsCobwebs! I've been an eBayer for years and always had a passion to have my own store--and a passion for vintage wares My house was bulging after years of collecting, showing up first at estate sales, looking for those after-holiday goodies, and just being a shopper. Treasures floor to ceiling! My husband had patiently shut his mouth for years, but as we neared retirement, it was obvious things had to change. It was time to clean the closets, empty the shelves, and get rid of those price-tagged goodies that were too good of a deal to pass up at one time but still hanging untouched.

AVON was one of my passions that I'd been selling and collecting for over 40 years and literally had cases and cases of bottles that had never made it out of the box from buying all the "new" products made available to reps. My collection bulged to over 3,000 pieces of vintage AVON. In the hunt of what to sell first, my vintage AVON was the best place to start. Started with two Avon Steins that were beauties, but dust collectors hidden behind more dust collectors. Cleaned and scrubbed and photographed and typed (or keyed as its called today.) BINGO! I made my first sale.

After a few sales I was ready to dive in and open my ebay store CarolsCobwebs, named in memory of my mother. My husband moved boxes of vintage AVON into the home office and that's my story. Now the office is floor to ceiling in more boxes and bottles and trinkets. There are days when I can see no end. How could all this Avon be here all this time and go unnoticed! CarolsCobwebs became a treasure trove of old and new, collectibles, craft materials, dolls, dishes, gift sets and vintage bottles. Love having a customer send me a request. If you need it, I probably have it - depends on how many boxes are on top of that box. My goal is to empty the house - after the vintage AVON comes the vintage kitchen wares. We live in a historic home that is cleverly decorated in vintage wares. We cook vintage, eat vintage, live vintage.
