My name is Denise Cohen of Spooky Moon Art. (Aka Witchypoo57). I live in New Jersey and I have been selling my original artwork on eBay for almost six years. I have had my own website for 7 years and have had great success with it. You are purchasing this artwork directly from me, the artist.
I have a passion for creating and am especially excited when working on Halloween themes. My inspiration comes simply from the world around me and my wierd imagination!
As far as technique, I work primarily in watercolors, but I also use pastels and inks to add highlight to my work. I have been commissioned to do original paintings for collectors all over the world such as England and Sweden. I have sold my art in most of the 50 States, I wish I had kept a log but was not that thoughtful.
My art has been published on the cover of Halloween How-to,by Lesley Bannatyne. This book has been highly acclaimed and sold out 2x at the publisher. I am pursuing a career in illustrating and writing children's books. A passion I has always had.
