Not real sure what to put here, but thought it would be cool to have an 'About me' page on ebay.  :) 

     I enjoy buying and selling, (when I have things ready to sell, that is), on ebay.  I am a professional, freelance, (read - starving), artist and selling helps contribute to our household income, as I don't work outside the home.

     My interests outside of art are reading fantasy/sci-fi and manga,  writing, playing rpg games on the computer, and collecting rock and mineral specimens and cut gems.

     What I think is important as a seller is to have open lines of communication, well packed items and quick shipping.  I automatically insure every item I ship via priority mail.

     As a buyer, I always use Paypal if the seller excepts it, I believe in paying just as soon as I win an auction, that way I don't have to worry about it.  Sellers that are polite, friendly and ship the items, well packed, right away are the best!  I believe in keeping open lines of communtication if there is ever a problem. 

     What makes me sad and angry is retalitory feedback.  I've been with ebay since May of 2000 and not having recieved four items that were paid for, two of those left me a negative after I left them one, (which I was justified in doing, I feel.)  It's too bad when a buyer and seller is scared of messing up their hard earned reputation for fear of retaliation.  Anyway, there's nothing for it.  I've taken to not leaving ANY if I don't recieve my items.  Mostly, though, the folks I've had transactions with over the years have been so nice.
