Hi! My name is William Maddox.
I am a serious collector of vintage minicomputer gear from
the 1960s and 1970s. Machines with core memory (no sissy DRAM), and a real front panel with plenty of switches and blinkenlights. Real computers look like computers. Real computers do not use microprocesor chips, Intel or otherwise, and they do not run Windows! My collection
currently includes multiple DEC PDP-8 and PDP-11 models, Data General Nova
2/1200/3, Hewlett-Packard 21xx, Honeywell 316, and others.
About half of my machines were purchased on eBay. Don't throw those old machines out! Old computers have value to collectors, including many models from the 1980s and 1990s. Check out the eBay category "Computers & Networking > Vintage Computing Products" and see for yourself!
I buy DEC PDP-8, Data General Nova, and other machines that fit the description above. Also, spare parts, peripherals, documentation,
and ephemera.
