Who We Are
Our greatest asset is a staff of over 300 skilled executives, pilots, mechanics and administrative personnel - all but four serve without compensation. We provide over 100,000 man-hours of volunteer work each year. Obviously, your donations are what enable this life saving work to continue. Every donation, whether it is money or materials, is used with great care for accountability.There are no complex investment programs and none of our Board of Directors benefit in any capacity from Wings of Hope funds. The frugal philosophy and insistence on maximizing the assistance to the poor allow us to accomplish more with less funds than practically any other charity in existence.
Wings of Hope is a non-sectarian, non-political organization that assists other charitable groups in combatting malnutrition, disease and harsh living conditions in remote areas of the world. In places where the terain is rugged, roads impassable and travel by boat or oxen is too slow, an airplane from Wings of Hope can transport ill and injured people quickly and safely to clinics and hospitals.
To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received.
