We are a small not for profit 501(c)(3) rescue group dedicated to rescuing and re-homing toy breed dogs. 
We accept mostly Chihuahua's, Pomeranians, Miniature Schnauzers, Brussels Griffons, Chinese Cresteds,  Papillons and Yorkies,( but not limited to these breeds). We take in the old, the special needs and the young.

  They include retired breeders, kennel close outs, and sometimes puppies, that for some reason were returned or rejected by  pet stores.  At times we are able to intercept those that are heading for the auctions. 

Although our main focus is helping any ex breeder in need, we also pull from kill shelters and when we have the foster space available will help with owner surrenders.

We consist of  families and individuals who foster in our homes since we do not have a physical shelter.

Each foster is taken to the vets for an examination.  They are brought up to date on vaccinations according to age, wormed for parasites, heartworm tested and started on prevention.   They are spayed/neutered and receive a dental cleaning  as per our vet recommendation.  Each are micro chipped for identification.

Every foster dog is evaluated for temperament. Once in their foster home, we can see how well they get along with other animals.  Some  do not do well in a home with children since they have never been exposed to them.  We note this on their bios.  We begin working with them on housetraining and paper training.  Some will never understand this concept but we at least try.
