HOW IT ALL BEGAN I have always loved science, and have been very fortunate to have had some superb teachers! These folks always used hands-on, mind on methods of instruction, be it through experiments or demonstrations. After becoming a teacher myself, I used the same methods, but it was always by chance that I found the perfect "science toy" to make students wonder and think about what they were observing. So an adventure began, to begin collecting some of these unique items for my own classroom. Other teachers became excited about the items during undergraduate and graduate courses where I would present them. To help them, I started a business where scientific toys, books, puzzles, puppets, and novelties could all be found in one place, available to everyone who enjoys these types of fun items! Alongside teachers, homeschoolers, grandparents, nostagia collectors, scientists, parents, amateur magicians, kids, and novelty lovers have all shared in finding the perfect items for their own enjoyment or pleasure of giving.
