Welcome to Woodland Miniatures, where you'll find a wide selection of knit and crochet 1:12 scale dollhouse miniatures, all handmade in my woodland workshop high in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State. My goal is to bring you the most realistic, beautiful and original creations that I can dream up, so that your dollhouse or roombox can be the most exciting, one of a kind creation you've ever dreamed of!

Miniature Knit Beaded Purses

My name is Mary K. Woods, and I've been in love with miniatures since I was about four years old and saw my first museum-quality dollhouse. It actually was in a museum, the Museum of History and Industry in Seattle, and it was an exquisitely detailed, fully electrified colonial mansion called the Hammons House. Of course, I didn't do much about creating miniatures until after the death of my mother a couple of years ago, and suddenly my life-long love of miniatures somehow joined hands with my life-long love of knitting and crocheting, and I haven't looked back since. It has been my pure pleasure to accept the challenge of designing and making crocheted and knit designs that are as realistic and as close to 1:12 scale as I could make them. From miniature beaded purses, to wearable clothing and accessories for mini-dolls, to household items like afghans, doilies, tablecloths and kitchen accessories - there are always more ideas than I have hands to make. I haven't had this much fun in years, and I hope you share in the fun while browsing my eBay listings.
