Welcome to the World of Gaia, and a wonderful world it is!  Gaia, another name for Mother Earth, has many treasures to share.  The World of Gaia, a power seller and store on eBay, hopes to share many of Mother Earth’s teachings and products with you.

ABOUT WORLD OF GAIA

World of Gaia opened in 2005 and is a division of a company called Gems of Gaia.  Beginning as a retail source for tumbled and natural stones in bulk packages, it has grown to offer more variety.  The main focus is still the stones and minerals from around the world in different sizes and forms. 

Our goal at the World of Gaia is to provide a large selection of good-to-high quality products for collectors, art projects, jewelry making, retail outlets, and for people who use them in their work.  Most stones are commercially tumbled or polished.  Through good buying practices we endeavor to maintain reasonable prices for the quality that we offer.  We believe that each type of stone carries its own energy and influences its environment, and we use those energies to improve our business. 

ABOUT THE OWNER

My name is Cecilia Ray.  I have always had a strong desire to learn, educate and share the beauty and mystery of nature with others.  After attaining a Master’s Degree in Education, I spent many years of my life in the education field teaching in the public schools and training teachers.  I founded a retail center called Vision Quest Educational Center in Everett, Washington and managed it for nine years.   My husband, Wes, and I also owned a wholesale herb business called Gaia’s World which we sold in 2007.  At this time, my joy comes from providing wonderful products and information through Gems of Gaia and its eBay outlet, World of Gaia.

Over the years I have been fascinated with product development and have created several lines of products including jewelry, candles, stone combinations, and inspirations and self-help printed material.  I intend to be add new items to World of Gaia as they are developed.  Also, check my new website, www.gemsofgaia.com which offers more information.

TO STAY INFORMED

World of Gaia periodically sends out an email with information about new products and specials.  To receive it, check the subscribe box in the store.  It is a great way to save money and learn about the latest items.   Email addresses will be used only for World of Gaia and will not be shared or sold.

SHIPPING AND POLICIES

We ship most items USPS Priority and USPS International.  When you buy several items and request an invoice, we offer a shipping discount which is much less than the indivual items.  Purchases are shipped generally within 48 hours of payment.  We are currently updating all listing so the discount will be automatically figured.

Our shipping discounts and return policies are as follows:  

US:  We use  Priority Mail and the initial charge is for 1 pound or the heaviest item.  $1.25 per item is added for each additional item in our tumbled stones.  Maximum shipping cost is $9.95 per regular order.  Special orders,medial items, and other products may be calculated differently.

GLOBAL:  We will calculate the total weight for the country and  notify you of our recommend shipping including our $2 handling fee for global packages.

Request an invoice and we will add in the shipping amount.

RETURN:  If we make an error on your order, please notify us immediately upon receipt and we will correct it. We accept returns requested withing the first 7 days.  The buyer pays return shipping.
