My name is Bob Sullivan. I am 60 years old, the father of five, ages 9 to 19, and a stamp collector. I collect US stamps including precancels, China by personal interest, and Peru, Ecuador and Tannu Tuva as a means of keeping my kids in touch with and interested in their respective homelands. (And yes, I am one of the few Americans in the world who can say they have been to the Republic of Tuva.) My mission as a collector is to add to my collection at no cost. I have done this over the years by buying box lots, breaking them down, and reselling them on eBay after I had taken out what I can use. I work on putting together country lots from roughly March to December and then auction them off in January and February. Because I am picking through box lots, I can't say that I have the greatest material on eBay as the condition of the stamps can vary widely; but I do my best to over describe the stamps, be their worst critic so you won't have to be, and offer a rock-sold, no questions asked, money back guarantee on most lots. So far that has worked pretty well: I have 1200 positive feedbacks with only one neutral and have had to return a buyer's money on only three occasions.
