Congratulations, you've made it to my "About Me" page. Ebay is one of my hobbies. I've been an Ebay member since Friday, Jul 16, 1999 . I like to both buy and sell. I'm one of those guys who is blessed with a wonderful wife who stays home with our kids. She is amazing when it comes to finding a good deal. It often gives me good stuff to sell here.
I have pretty high standards. First on my list is to treat people the way I want to be treated. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt knowing you'd do the same for me.
Here's some things that I will do:
provide plenty of accurate details on the things that I'm selling. I won't try to hide anything by skimping on the details. If there's something about the item I'm selling that's not apparent in the pictures, I'll let you know.
pay fast if I'm the winning bidder. I won't mess around.
ship fast and package well. I have a UPS Store about a mile from my house and a Post Office even closer. I also have access to ample shipping supplies (previously used boxes, bubble wrap, etc).
Here's some things that I will NOT do:
overcharge for shipping. I don't feel it's right to make money on shipping charges and I won't do it. I'll use the postage calculators whenever possible.
reserve auctions. I tend to shy away from reserve auctions when I'm buying. I do a fair bit of research to determine the value of what I'm selling before I list it.
bid and not pay. I'm not going to bid on something unless I intend to pay for it -- after all, winning an auction is a contract.
To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received.
Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
