Who Am I. I am a collector, mostly of glass and pottery who has made a transition to PowerSeller. I offer items that I bought or acquired from Estate sales, Auctions, Tag sales, yard sales, my own home or collections, or my friends or family members, etc. Most are vintage or used unless specified, and probably will show some signs of use, wear or age.
I will do my best to make your eBay transaction with me pleasant. I approach each transaction with integrity and fair trading. As I have always done, I strive to fully disclose everything, I know about the items I sell.
I claim no great expertise in grading and evaluating items, but I do try to be conservative. I would rather have you pleasantly surprised rather than disappointed. I do my research and disclose every flaw that I identify and provide enough photos to let you judge for yourself.
I rarely set a reserve, try to keep my minimums low, and let you set the price. I recognize that eBay is mostly a wholesale market, not where you try to get the highest book value listed in the latest price guide. If some items seem pricey, that is only because I have a substantial investment in it.
I want to be delighted when I buy something, and I want you to be delighted when I sell something. I will go to great lengths to avoid receiving poor feedback, and my record shows that. My descriptions are complete and honest, and my packaging is careful. It's must easier to avoid problems than to try to fix them later.
If there is a problem with delivery or you believe the item doesn't match my description, you tell me how you want it resolve. I've had my own problems with sellers who don't deliver what's promised, and I understand how difficult those situations can be.
As you may or may not know the star scores or Detailed Seller Rating (DSR) scores are very important to seller because eBay uses them to determine visibility in search results. Beginning in October any seller who averages below 4.3 stars in any category will be prohibited from selling on eBay.
If you have been satisfied by the service, I have provided and are inclined to leave feedback, please keep in mind that anything below a 5 rating is considered poor seller performance.
About shipping: I do my best to charge fairly for shipping. I use USPS almost exclusively for my items. Your purchase will be carefully packed and shipped normally within 2 days of receipt of cleared payment. I recycle packing materials whenever possible and of course there are some new material required for which I incur an expense, i.e. tape, paper, printer/ink, labels. This is why a $1.00 packing/handling charge is included in your shipping & handling price. I accept Paypal only. Your payment is due within 7 days of the end of the listing. I will not hesitate to file an Unpaid Item Dispute for bidders who do not contact me or respond to my attempt to contact them within the specified time period.
I combined shipping whenever possible ( as long as the items combined can reasonably be shipped together), for purchases within a 7 day period. You must notify me if you intend to purchase or bid on other items and you must make a single payment to qualify for combined shipping. My combined shipping discount is to charge only a single packing/handling fee plus actual shipping charges to your location.
