Racing?
We specialize in aftermarket lighting, performance parts & accessories.
We've been selling for 4 years on eBay with our older eBay name
"bonbonshaker."
We decided to make our name reflective of our business. We have
many new things to come. We are striving to provide the best service
and product at the lowest cost. Unless otherwise noted, everything
on auction is NEW & UNUSED! If marked as a "clearance"
or "liquidation" item, the warranty will differ as noted
in the Warranty Section. All clear corners and bumper lights come
in pairs or sets (whichever is applicable), unless noted otherwise.
Tail lights will either come in 2 or 4 piece sets (whichever is
applicable). We sometimes take pictures of one side for practical
purposes.
If you're new to online buying and auctions, welcome! We'll here
to make this an enjoyable experience. Since there are a lot of parts
to a transaction, please read this page to answer your questions.

Most sellers won't tell you their "policy" until after

What can we do to make this a good experience?
- Easy. Ask questions when you are
unsure. Don't bid on something to later find out you expected
something else (ex. you wanted the car and not just the lights).
For the most part, we try to describe the item and photograph
them to the best of our ability, but from time-to-time, there
may be a mix-up. If a picture and description don't match up (and
the auction doesn't note the discrepancy), please let us know.
- Only bid if you are going to complete
this. We've heard every reason out there for not paying. We try
to be understanding, but it seems like some people don't care.
We don't accept reasons ranging from the coincidental car accidents
on the day of, day before, or day after the auction ended, a person
bid on too many of the same item, bid on the wrong item/color,
bid an amount they couldn't pay, bid for a friend and the friend
no longer wants it, etc. The list goes on. We expect everybody
that's bidding understand that eBay bidding *is* a contract. You
are responsible for your account and the bids you make. To give
an example, if you buy a plane ticket from some services out there
like Priceline, they make sure they got your financial information
before commencing a bid. If you win, you must pay (they charge
your credit card automatically). Changing your mind isn't an option.
We know eBay isn't as strict, but we feel that we make commitments
to what we sell (even if we're taking losses), so a bidder should
commit to what s/he bid on.
- When checking on something, please
reference the description and/or auction #. It saves both of us
time since many items are similar, and we can't necessarily answer
a question on the auction about "tail lights" since the question
isn't specific enough.
- When emailing us about winning
an auction or checking on the status of an order, if you are writing
from a different email address than the one you bid with or you
don't sign your full name, we are clueless to who are. Don't despair
and become frustrated. More information is better than less.
- Please reference the auction #
and your email you are using to bid on eBay so we may provide
you with a more timely answer. If we get something we can't figure
out, we'll write you to clarify. We deal with a lot of emails
and can't necessarily place a name to an email right away.
- When mailing in payments, be sure
to submit our online form first and include a copy of it with
your payment. If you can't include a copy for some reason, please
write the auction #, your phone #, and the description of the
item. We have several "dead orders" right now since some customers
haven't give us any way to respond to them. For some, there might
be a clue and we can track it down, but for others, we have no
idea. Please do not leave us negative feedback when we have no
way getting a hold of you. We don't like to sit on orders. We
know everyone is excited to receive their orders and we don't
want it to sit here. Help us help you! We highly encourage online
payments as this nearly never happens since a record of the transaction
exists and is more easily traceable.

Common Questions on Products
We get these so often, we'll just
answer them right here.
- If you see a competitor with an
item and it might be the same as ours, just ask. It might be.
Because of how different sellers take pictures with different
lighting and angles, the item can look different. We can help
you verify this.
- Light bulbs are only included
if specified in the auction. If the bulbs are included, they are
included as a courtesy for that specfic auction. Light bulbs are
not covered under warranty since we cannot control various factors
such as installation, handling, vehicle electrical systems, weather,
or humidity. Please exercise caution during installation and never
handle the bulb directly with your fingers as body oil / sweat
can damage the bulb. If you happen to touch the bulb, you can
use rubbing alcohol to wipe it clean. If you need to replace a
bulb you can find them at any auto parts store.

Shipping & Handling
U.S. Residents
Products in most auctions are shipped UPS Ground *except* to Alaska,
Hawaii, military bases (that don't accept UPS shipments), and US
Territories. All UPS shipments have insurance. Prices quoted must
be revised if USPS priority shipping to these locations is requested.
If USPS priority mail is requested,
will will put a delivery confirmation and signature requirement
on it. This will increase the postage cost. We don't insure it since
insurance claims take 60-90 days and no one wants to wait that long.
If you wish purchase insurance, please note that length of time
to claim it. Insurance usually amounts to $1/$50 value.
Handling is incorporated into the cost
of shipping, so please don't ask us for a breakdown of the cost
of packaging your order. We use extra boxes, packing materials,
and labor to have these go out safely. If we sent them the way they
came to us, nearly every order would break. Since this takes time,
it costs more than the "actual" cost to ship the product.
Some products don't include the original pretty box they came in
since they aren't deemed shippable.
It takes time to process payments, pack,
etc., please allow the time. In some circumstances, we can expedite
shipments for an extra handling cost, but we will let you know if
what you want done can be done within reason. We almost never ship
overnight in the same day since it doesn't allow us enough time
to pack & process. In addition, we have to verify orders for
fraud since most criminals prefer overnight shipping.
Refused or undeliverable shipments are
not grounds for a refund. The shipment, if returned, will be held
until a $10 handling fee and funds to cover re-shipping are secured.
Please use an address where someone will be available to accept
shipment to minimize problems. If an address change occurs during
a UPS shipment, through no fault of our own, we expect you will
honor a $5 charge (charged to us by UPS).
In the event that we grant a refund
on a return for a particular situation, shipping and handling is
not refundable under any circumstances. If the item had free shipping
as part of the sale, we will refund you less a shipping amount removed
from the total. Items offered with free shipping are only done so
with the intent that customer is keeping the item. If the item is
returned, then the shipping is no longer free. Restocking fees additionally
will be assessed.
Matrix Racing will provide a delivery
confirmation number (USPS) or tracking number (UPS) for shipments
upon request. Requests can be made 5 days after payment (if paid
by credit card or online) and 10 days if payment is mailed in.
The
usual rule of thumb is that multiple small items can be sent together.
One small and one big item might be able to be sent together. Two
big items will ship separately. For example, if you win a tail light
and a headlight, these will ship separately. This is done for safety
reasons (so that the items won't break each other) and for economy
reasons (the box will often be oversized and cost more then 2 items
going by themselves). Small items, like washer nozzles, gauges,
small bumper or corner lights, etc. can ship together. If you are
unsure, please email us with the items you intend to buy to see
how it can ship. We can not ship items together if payments are
not received together.
Business
days is defined as Monday through Friday excluding holidays and
weekends. Payments received during the weekend will count as being
paid on Monday. Our business hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-5:30
Pacific Standard Time excluding recognized holidays.

Shipping Problems, Back Orders, and Listing Errors
- Once the shipment leaves Matrix
Racing, the customer is responsible for arrival of shipment. If
the carrier leaves the package at the door and it is lost or stolen,
there's nothing we can do about it. If you wish to have the package
sent as a "restricted delivery" where a signature is
required, please inform us so we can specify that when we mail
it. There is an additional cost imposed by the carrier for this
service (usually $2-$3). Contrary to belief, UPS doesn't have
to get a signature for a package to consummate the delivery. They,
at their option, can leave a package at a door and it is considered
delivered. We consider it delivered as well. The instances of
a lost/stolen package has been so low, that it usually isn't a
problem, but we feel we should inform you to disclaim our liability
in case your neighborhood/building has a problem with this. You
might not think it too cool that your neighbor is sporting your
latest accessories or parts!
- If an order becomes lost in transit,
we will file the appropriate forms to get a refund. Once we know
we will be paid, we will ship another product. We can't ship before
then as sometimes the package mysteriously arrives to you and
we end up sending you two shipments and the carrier won't reimburse
us. Sure, you're happy with two shipments, but we aren't. Uncooperative
previous customers have caused us to create & enforce this
policy. You agree NOT to leave us negative feedback if such an
condition exists. It's beyond our control. Mail order has inherent
risks & circumstances. You could always pay high retail prices
at a local shop, but most people don't want to do that, so it's
a trade off. We all wouldn't be here if we couldn't get a better
deal or get something that's not around in our local area.
- We make every effort to have in
stock what you order, but if a back order condition exists, we
will let you know as soon as possible. Why do we sell something
if we don't have it? Chances are it was in stock at the posting
of the auction, but since we sell outside of eBay, we can't always
reserve or tie up products for the auction when in the majority
of cases, we can replenish it within a reasonable time. Some bidders
don't end up paying and we would have reserved a product for nothing.
Getting any item is not usually more than a few days and we buy
direct from the importers. Southern California is the major port
of entry in the country for all these products. Sometimes a shortage
does occur with certain products and we can't get them if our
life depended on it. We will relay to you our best estimate given
to us by our various suppliers. It is subject to change. If this
happens and if it will take longer than the 30 days required by
Ebay to receive your product, you have the option of releasing
your order without fault. The auction then becomes null &
void and we expect neither party to leave negative feedbacks.
You can alternately decide to trade the product for something
of equal worth or the pay the difference of something else we
carry. We are ALWAYS willing to work something out.
- If a product is quoted at an incorrect
price, such as $1 or 1 cent, we reserve the right to refuse or
cancel an order even if we have confirmed receipt of any payment.
We will promply issue a credit by the method used to make payment.
- From time to time, a listing may
contain an error such a conflicting title and description (ex.
headlights in the title, but foglights in the description). Other
examples can be conflicting pictures with a different title or
description (ex. we may show headlights, but the title and description
suggest something else). If the items described are different,
by either photos or title and/or descriptions, we reserve the
right to cancel the auction and refund any monies paid. You, additionally,
can request cancellation of an auction for the same reasons (perhaps
you saw the picture, but weren't reading the description of the
item to be different). Our intent is to maintain accurate listings,
but such errors can happen. We want to maintain a fair system
for both buyer and seller.
- If for some reason we send you
more than one shipment in error, you agree to send it back to
us at our cost. We will offer you a discount on another item (subject
to our ability to get it and within certain limitations which
we'll discuss at the time) or offer a free item(of lesser value
and at our discretion) as a matter of thanks.
- Due
to the manufacturing process and high demand many aftermarket
products are shipped right after being made and often do not sit
around long enough for the lens epoxy to dry completely. This
may cause the lens to get gaps during shipping which may cause
water leaks or fogging. You should inspect the seal inbetween
the lens and body of the lamp before installation and reseal it
if needed. We will NOT warranty lamps due to outer
lens water leaks under any circumstance unless reported within
5 days of receipt. If the body of the lamp leaks through a non
air vent hole, that will be warrantied under manufacturers defect.

International Shipping
International orders
Please call or email us
for shipping options and costs. All customs or duties are the responsibility
of the buyer. Shipments to Canada are shipped via FedEx. We do collect
taxes, duties, and brokerage fees which are not are NOT included
in the final price until you win the auction and inform us of your
address. The total prices given will be your total landed price.
Customs should not charge you anything as we collect all fees in
advance. Shipments outside the US (except Canada) are usually shipped
US Express mail with insurance and signature requirement. If we
cannot send it through USPS we will contact a frieght fowarder and
contact you with the applicable shipping costs. We are unable to
supply a tracking number with a USPS surface or air mail shipment
as USPS doesn't have tracking services for anything other than Express
mail. We will *only* ship that way if you release us from any responsibility
for losses or damage. Since we can't track it, we don't want to
responsible for it.
Note: If an order becomes lost in
transit with USPS, we will initiate an insurance trace. This is
different than a domestic trace as insurance traces can take 30-45
days. We will not send a replacement product in the interim. We
apologize in advance, but we encumber a risk selling internationally
and as a buyer, if you elect to get less expensive shipping, this
is a known factor. You agree to NOT leave us negative feedback if
this condition exists. It's beyond our control. We will supply you
with the insurance # so you can follow up on your side (but trust
us, USPS doesn't really expedite anything). It doesn't happen often,
but it happens. UPS is much faster to pay out claims and will track
to the foreign country (but you end up paying for this privilege
through higher brokerage and customs fees). Once we mail the product,
it can take anywhere from 7-15+ days via airmail service to reach
you. Sometimes your shipment is stuck at customs for some unknown
reason. You should check with them if it seems like a long time.
Emailing us and asking us where it is won't help as we can't determine
this information. All we can tell you is when it shipped.

Payment & Terms
U.S. Residents
- We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover,
and American Express through PayPal. We prefer this method of
payment as it is faster, secure, and a transactional history on
the respective systems exists for both the customer and us. The
payments are also insured both ways (you are from us and we are
from you).
- We also accept checks by phone for
US Residents. Please call us 818-595-0011. You will need to have
your checkbook ready so we can obtain the account and routing
numbers. We will have to hold checks 10 business days but you
will save on mailing time.
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover
Card, and American Express directly. You can call us 818-595-0011
or fax us 818-337-7577. After you win the auction you're emailed
a link to a secure online form where your payment can be made.
- We also accept checks or money orders.
Please allow 10 business days for a personal check to clear. Even
if the check cleared your bank and you know it did (because you
can call in and check), we have no way of verifying this. Some
can clear as fast as 2 days and others can take 14 days. For simplicity's
sake, we have this policy. If you don't want to wait, please select
an alternate method of payment.
- COD payments are not accepted
as we have several ways to take payments. Since we've had a longstanding
relationship and reputation built over time (as evidenced by our
feedbacks), you should bid with confidence in knowing you're getting
what we advertise.
International Orders
- Cashier Checks, Postal Money Orders,
or wire transfer payments are currently the only acceptable
methods of overseas payments for product. We can not
accept international credit cards until address verification
is allowed by overseas banks. We do not accept Paypal is these
accounts not be both confirmed and verified as they are in
the US.
- Canada only: We will accept
credit cards so long as we can get authorization from the
bank. If the bank will not verify, you agree to make payment
through another method we accept for international orders.
Bidding
- We expect that all bids placed will
be honored. It's really unfair to other bidders and the auction
process when bidders don't fulfill their bids. If you aren't sure,
don't bid. Bidding and canceling because of a mistake - i.e. changed
mind, found somewhere else cheaper, don't want to pay according
to the terms listed (ex. paying with credit card or paypal internationally),
etc. are not reasons to cancel. You wouldn't want us to cancel
the bid because we decided we didn't like the price, so it works
both ways. There is one exception listed below.
- In the event there's a discrepancy
between eBay's posted amounts for fee's outside the bid, such
as shipping or added costs per items, the body of the auction
(where we type the description) will prevail. This goes both ways.
For example, if we state free or reduced shipping in the body,
but ebay puts some amount that isn't free or reduced, we'll give
it for free. In reverse, if we state an amount for shipping and
eBay states it lower or free, the body of the auction will be
used. Our intent is what we typed, not an automated field box
from the auction software used to post the auction. If a disagreement
occurs, you as the customer can elect to follow our terms and
conditions or decide to rescind your bid as you didn't read our
terms (which shouldn't be a reason to cancel, but we understand
some people will not bend once they see something one way). At
such point, both parties can nullify the transaction and walk
away without negative consequence to each other. We will file
a NPB alert with eBay to retrieve back our fees paid.
- Please do not retract bids once placed.
Reasons of bidding too high, bidding on multiple auctions for
the same item, or manipulation of the price by bidding & retracting
is against eBay rules and we will, at our discretion, nullify
the auction and report any disreputable actions.
- If a bid is retracted 2-3 hours before
the auction, we will at our option honor the auction for the 2nd
highest bidder (who now becomes the 1st highest bidder). We do
this because, either intentionally or not, this is a price manipulation
and other bidders are not given ample time to review the item
and bid accordingly had their been more time in the auction. We
feel that no person has any reason to retract a bid, with a valid
reason, an hour or minutes before the close of auction.
- If the above event happens, and if
you are the 2nd highest bidder that now becomes the 1st highest
bidder, we will discuss with you options. We don't want you to
pay for 2 items (either from us or someone else) when you reasonably
felt that you were not going to win and bid on another auction
and won. Fair is fair, so we'll play fair.
Note: There may be delay in sending out the shipment while we attempt
to satisfy our requirements that the order is valid and no fraudulent
activities are taking place. We've saved ourselves a few times by
waiting a few days and being contacted by eBay or the credit card
companies letting us know that a fraudulent order was placed. It's
for our protection and the valid card holder's protection (and if
that's you, you'll be glad).

Warranty/Return Policy
Matrix Racing's goal is to provide a
wide selection of brand-name import performance products at extremely
low prices. In doing so, we adhere to the following terms and conditions.
ALL PARTS SOLD BY MATRIX RACING ARE SOLD ON AN AS IS BASIS, THE
ONLY WARRANTIES APPLYING TO THESE PARTS ARE THOSE THAT MAY BE OFFERED
BY THE MANUFACTURER AS LIMITED WARRANTIES. NOT ALL PARTS WILL FIT
PERFECT OR PERFORM AS DESIRED. THIS IS THE NATURE OF AFTERMARKET
ACCESSORIES AND PARTS. WE GET THE BEST PRODUCT AVAILABLE (BASED
ON PERSONAL/CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE, REPUTATION, ETC.). MATRIX RACING
HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NEITHER ASSUMES, NOR AUTHORIZES ANY OTHER
PERSON(S) TO ASSUME FOR IT ANY LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE
SALE OF THESE PARTS. THE BUYER SHALL NOT BE ENTITLED TO RECOVER
FROM MATRIX RACING ANY CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, DAMAGES TO PROPERTY,
DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF PROFIT, LOSS OF INCOME,
ANY COSTS OF INSTALLATION/MODIFICATION, COSTS OF SHIPPING AND HANDLING,
OR ANY OTHER INCIDENTAL DAMAGES. PARTS ARE AFTERMARKET AND ARE INTENDED
FOR OF ROAD USE ONLY. SOME PRODUCTS MAY CLAIM SAE/DOT COMPLIANCE,
MATRIX RACING CANNOT ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUCH CLAIMS. PLEASE
CHECK YOUR LOCAL LAWS AND RESEARCH THE PARTS YOU WISH TO PURCHASE
TO INSURE THEY ARE THE CORRECT ITEMS YOU WANT TO PURCHASE.
Due

All Clearance or Liquidation
items, if noted in the description of item, are sold AS IS.
There is no exception to this policy. This item is either an overstock
or discontinued item being sold at a loss. In many cases, it's been
on our shelves too long for us to collect a warranty from the manufacturer
either because of it's age or the item is no longer made, hence
we are selling it at a loss to clear space. Our loss is your gain,
but be aware for buying it for less, you incur any risks or liabilities
in doing so.
We offer only exchanges in the event
of defective items for the new items we sell. Special clearance
and liquidation items will not have returns or exchanges possible.
Please retain your original parts and original packaging in the
event you need to exchange the part for defect reasons. We must
receive the product back to us FIRST before sending out a replacement.
We can not cross ship products as we need to inspect the "defective"
product first. Defective items may be returned for replacement subject
to the above BOLD lettering within 30 days and following restrictions:
1. All products must be returned in original condition including
packaging, documentation, warranty cards, instructions, and hardware. No item can be damaged in any way except for the defect in question. If the item is damaged, either by shipment or by the customer (but not told to us), it's not eligible for an exchange. Please pack it properly as you are responsible for how it gets to us.
2. Products can not be installed or otherwise show signs of
wear or modification. The product can not be damaged during installation.
The exception is if the product manifested it's defect shortly after
installation and there was no way of telling until you drove around
with it (see point #8 for further restrictions).
3. Please read the labels on the boxes when you receive the
product. Returning a product that you later found to be the wrong
one shipped after you tried installing it is not grounds for a return.
You don't try on clothes without looking at the size, so read the
labels to ensure they are what you ordered. If not, you must notify
us within 5 days of receipt so we can rectify the situation.
4. No cancellations, returns or exchanges are permitted on
special order items, custom order items, and electronic products
(unless DOA).
5. All returns must be shipped freight prepaid. We will refuse
an COD shipments to us. Customer must pay for full
shipping and handling both ways on items that are damaged in shipping,
defective, or warranty returns. Since items being sold on ebay are
sold at promotional and liquidation pricing (i.e. no money made
or at a loss), we are unable to
cover these costs. Buying items at a lower cost will incur some
risk to the customer. We return items to the manufacturer which
costs us in shipping so we have to pass these costs to the customer.
6. Any returns found to be non-defective are subject to a
handling fee of $10 and and all non-product related fees (shipping,
transaction costs, and insurance) are not
refundable. If you want your item back, you'll need to pay all shipping
and handling costs back to you. No exception.
7. Some products may differ in the pictures slightly due to
lighting conditions, angle of picture, or use of alternate manufacturers.
You are agreeing to this term by conducting the transaction. If
you have a question about this, please let us know.
8. Any products returned to us that our not our own is an
act of malice and fraud. Some items (and eventually all) contain
hidden security identifiers which must be intact when we receive
the product. We will not replace or return the product if it is
being passed off as one of our own or does not contain the marking
(no we won't tell you where and what it is as it doesn't affect
the products appearance or function). We will report such actions
to eBay, the postal service (for mail fraud), and any applicable
local law enforcement. We will not tolerate fraud of any kind.
9. If we can not get you a suitable replacement within 3 weeks,
we will refund your money less shipping costs.
All products returned to Matrix Racing
must have a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) issued by Matrix
Racing. The RMA is valid for 7 days from the date of issuance. Please
contact us by phone or email to request an RMA number and return
instructions.
In the event we error and ship you the
wrong product, we will replace the product after it has been
shipped back to us. It doesn't happen too often, but we'll mention
it here so you know that we'll fix the error. We will only ship
back once we receive the product and can inspect it to make sure
everything is in order. Yes, we know it's an inconvenience to wait
longer, but since we've encountered people taking advantage of our
kindness, we've needed to employ more stricter methods. We've found
in the past that products weren't always ours or were damaged by
the customer.
Euro
Clear Lighting is produced for Off-road or Show purpose only. Euro
Clear lighting is not suitable for regular driving condition for
it is without "DOT" or "SAE" approval. User
must follow the direction given and any misuse of the Euro Clear
Lighting products is at his or her own risk. We will not be held
responsible for using the euro clear lighting products other than
specified above.

Feedbacks
Please email us letting us know you receive the item. We like to
give positive feedback and appreciate the same from customers. We
do not leave feedback immediately after a payment is received as
that is only part of the transaction. How the buyer treats us, having
reasonable expectations, and contacting us about problems or issues
can not be seen until after the transaction concludes. The transaction
is complete once the buyer has received their merchandise and is
satisfied with it. Leaving negative feedback as a means of resolving

Recently, we undertaken the task
of launching more auctions which have generated thousands of emails
to us weekly. If you didn't receive a reply as soon as you would
have liked, please call us 818-595-0011. The number is listed on
eBay as well. To resolve any type of miscommunication or problem,
we rather use the good ol' telephone. We usually email 24-48 hours
after the close of an auction. If you haven't received one, please
use the above method to get a hold of us. We use several computers
from different locations, so it's possible to lose an email. We
love feedbacks and provide them on successfully completed transactions.
Moreover, we like good feedbacks
so we work to the best of our ability to "get things right." Before
leaving a negative feedback, talk to us first (on the phone preferably).
We received negative feedbacks in the past for simple misunderstandings
that could have been avoided had the bidder not jumped to conclusions.
Examples are expecting an email instantly after an auction, not
trying to email beyond one email, couldn't wait more than a day,
or they had technical problems on their own computers which resulted
in us not seeing their email. Rest assured, we will answer your
questions as soon as possible. A kind reminder email goes a long
way! EBAY POLICY IS 3 DAYS. If both parties still wish to engage
in the payment process, 3 days isn't a rule. Both parties can still
continue so long as arrangements are made and communication is happening.
So, allow a little patience.
