ARTIST
STATEMENT
The streets are where art really lives. I slung dirt at night
on the streets. Climbing and hopping fences seeking the perfect
spot to scrawl my name. In and out quickly with grace of an
ally cat night after night, killing spray paint cans. At each
spot I left my name larger then life. This is how I learned
how to be an artist, by doing throw- ups and tagging everything
I passed. I am a Graffiti Bomber on and off the streets. Graffiti
will always be the blood in my exploration with art and living.
It keeps things flowing and alive. Graffiti is where I emerged
from and where I never left and never will leave. People have
asked me why I do not show my graffiti in my shows. This is
not the streets. I keep it separated in a way. I could never
recreate graffiti onto canvas. |

It would be lost. The street pressures don't exist in my constructed
environment. But fragments of it always exist in my art.
From graffiti I have gravitated towards and am self educated
in photography, typography and have received a BS in Graphic
Design. All of these mediums can be seen in my artwork. I
feel blest from God art did not become dormant with in me
as I make my way through living but has become my way of life.
Because essentially we all are beautiful creations of art,
we all are critters of art. I thank you all for taking interest
in my work.
