As a child, such as many of us, I grew up building and flying model airplanes powered by Cox engines. As an adult, I gradually migrated to larger models and engines.

Some years ago, I decided to revive my passion for Cox products and discovered that there was little available on the market. I began buying on-line and eventually ended up speaking with representatives of Estes, the owners of the Cox brand.

I was repeatedly assured that, a few engines and propellers aside, there was nothing left in stock. However, I began to dig deeper and spoke with some of the Cox “old-timer” staff, who hinted there might be boxes of undiscovered treasures in their warehouses.

To make a long story short, I ended up “discovering” dozens of Cox products in their warehouses that no one seemed to know about.

And so began my buying spree...

Over the course of the last few years I purchased lot after lot of Cox inventory, culminating at the end of January 2009 where I, together with a colleague, bought out the entire remaining Cox inventory.

Late in 2006, together with my partner "Xena", we set up shop on eBay under the name of “xenalook”, specializing exclusively in the distribution of Cox branded product. It was immediately a huge success!

Today, we have in stock over $1,000,000.00 of Cox product; amongst such over 35,000 engines, 100,000 propellers and tens of thousands of spare parts.

Furthermore, we partnered up with a model engine manufacturer for the acquisition of various tools, dies and moulds for the purpose of producing assorted, hard-to-find, Cox parts.

We are in this for the long run and pride ourselves in our superior customer service. Although we currently sell via eBay, we also sell off eBay at www.coxengines.ca.
