Not
your average car guy!
I've been
into cars since I was 12. My first memory of a cool car
was earlier than that. My uncle had a 66 Comet GT and I
remember riding in it when it was a couple years old. I collect 1969 and 1970
Mercury Cougars. Also buy automobilia, especially 1960's vintage signs
and Mercury dealer items. I bid on parts, literature, toys
and promo items. I sell 1967-1973 Cougar things
too, check out my eBay store! Northeast Classic Cougar
Supply. Boredom at swap
meets lead to the purchase of a few beer signs for my
garage. Things got a little weird and I now have an over sized collection of
light up beer signs. I am
moving into the animated type. No more room on the walls so I'm
"upgrading" some. I finally found a large version
Hamm's "Starry Night"
sign at a great price; where else but one of the Carlisle swap meets? My
latest addition is a Rainer dusk to dawn diorama sign. Got any cool light up or animated beer signs from
the 50's to early 70's to sell?
My
auction policies, please read:
- End of Auction:
I
send the winner an eBay invoice shortly
after the auction closes. Wait for the
invoice before using the
eBay check out feature. Please save us
both headaches by responding to the
invoice or emailing your address as soon
as you can. I ship to your PayPal registered address unless you clearly indicate you would prefer another destination.
- Payment Timing:
Payment
should arrive within 10 days of being
contacted with the total. You get one
reminder. If you fail to reply I'll open a
non-paying bidder dispute. I immediately close out all disputes in a positive manner once the buyer has made appropriate response and
paid.
- Payment Formats:
Since the eBay profit nazi's have mandated PayPal, I offer it again.
I usually did it through my business account. I had a personal account too but PayPal forced me to upgrade even though I had appropriate limits to accept credit card payments. They went so far as to say they could not tell me why, but eBay requires it!! Talk about a scam. Bottom line, payment requests
from xr7coug or neccs are both from me. Occasionally I will accept
cashier's checks and money orders but they must be in US funds and
have a US bank address on them. Absolutely no Canadian
postal money orders. If you can't
deal with this, don't bid and definitely
don't whine if there is a delay.
- Feedback:
Feedback
is a very important part of eBay. Even though they have taken most of the
meaning out of it I still value
mine. Sure I have a couple of retaliatory negatives way back in time. You would too if you dealt with the idiots I've run into.
Check the FB I've left, there are some real losers out there and you might want to avoid them.
As a seller I leave FB when your payment arrives. Sellers who wait to
see what I am going to say about their item and service before leaving FB about my timely
payment will not receive
any FB from me.
- Satisfaction:
Everything
I sell is as-is. There are no returns. If you look at my feedback you will see I usually describe things very well and rate them conservatively.
If I say its NOS, its NOS. This doesn't mean I am an unreasonable
jerk. If
you are not happy with an item please let
me know. There is probably something we can do
to work it out.

I'm trying to locate a decent
1965 Dodge Coronet 440 2 door hard top. Body
needs to be rust free, but I will consider one
with minor rust depending on price and location. It doesn't need to be
running or even have an engine or transmission. Given that these are getting way over priced, I might consider the same in a
wagon. As if I don't have enough projects already...
I also need an NOS hood insulation
pad for a 69-70 Cougar, its about the last piece I need for my SCJ Eliminator.

This
is our 67 Cougar. A survivor with one
repaint. Not too common Trafalgar blue paint.
Interior decor group, tilt, clock, remote mirror, deluxe seat belts, bumper guards, door edge guards.
Very little rust. We cleaned it up and we're driving it. |

The Cougar on the right is a rust free CA car but it needs
total restoration. The original exhaust is still
on it, Ford script mufflers still solid! It needs some radiator
support work to correct some shop's attempt at repair early in its life. |

done. Now its just sitting, full of parts. Stroker FE,
Lentech AOD, Crites traction bars, Crites 'glass,
correct interior. |

Gotta have
tunes!
Music and cars
seem to go together. I like many different types of music. 1980's "synthpop" is my
favorite. Do a search on Amazon if you don't know
what that is. I like country too, but not
that pop Garth and Shania stuff. How
about Rockabilly? Zydeco? Reggae? Celtic? All
good to me! Check this out if you like ABBA I am the city
