This is my own personal made-up motto :) but feel free to use it if you want to! *SMILE* I try like the dickens to live by this daily and am grateful for every day,everything & everyone in it.
I started selling online in the past few months but have learned A LOT from a few great folks willing to share their expertise. I am always interested in learning new things and gaining new skills. I have been involved in many career fields in my life. I have been a waitress, an Air Force wife, a wrangler for a rodeo arena in California and a business, data and operations analyst for a Fortune 100 company just to name a few. After 10 years of trying to climb the proverbial ladder in the IT sector, I said enough! and gave it all up!
You see, on one visit to a wise and dear friend, terminally ill with Cancer, he told me to make sure to "take a vacation,” I told him that I would. I got busy at work, making deadlines and working both ends of the candle and I never saw him again. He passed away Christmas morning 2006. I was not around far enough when he was ill for either him or his wife my very good childhood friend. I regret not being there more and vowed to not live with letting time slip by and being busy about getting other people's work done. So here I am trying to live and love and "take vacations" more often.
After 10 years of being Mr. Mom, my hubby went back to work full time and just recently dropped back to regular part-time. So, now I have the BEST job EVER!!! Selling Online is great! But, my #1 job is wife and mother. I get to be home with my two beautiful girls, my hubby and my horses.
