Envision Mahogany carries the largest sellection of Ebony Visions retired figurines on eBay. Envision Mahogany has also created a unique line of display BaseSTANDS and Accessories for Thomas Blackshear Ebony Visions The Jamboree Parade Flakeling Tales/i> and other sculptures. These display BaseSTANDS and Accessories are individually HANDCRAFTED from hardwoods and other products. These display BaseSTANDS and Accessories are designed to enhance the beauty and elegance of the Figurine and/or Ornament and complement its display with other Blackshear sculptures as a stand-alone, series figurines and ornaments. Envision Mahogany was founded in 2002; it was inspired by the handcrafting of The Piper Hardwood BaseSTAND for Thomas Blackshear The Enchanted Piper 2003 Membership Only Figurine.
About Envision Mahogany
The creator and designer for the Envision Mahogany line, Donald Ramsey, is an avid collector of the Thomas Blackshear's sculptures. He is a builder, designer, businessman and CPA.
He began collecting Thomas Blackshear sculptures in June 2002 after purchasing a few Blackshear sculptures for his wife collection (about 10 at that time) as graduation and Mother Day gifts. After the second purchase for Mother's Day, Donald was hooked on the Blackshear lines. By October of 2002, their collection of the Blackshear sculptures were over one hundred (100) pieces including the hard to get Storyteller, Siblings, Nurturer, Madonna and Oh No She Didn't.
In December, Donald purchased the Enchanted Piper figurine from his local dealer and immediately noticed it did not have a wood base. He took the sculpture home and in his garage workshop, he HANDCRAFTED a wood base for the figurine before placing it in his display case. A week later he sort out a master woodcraftman to HANDCRAFT The Piper's Hardwood BaseSTAND with a professional touch and quality. He knew if his display did not look complete without the wood base, others collectors would want to have it as well, and NOW.
In February 2003, Donald launched the Envision Mahogany line with the sale of The Piper's Hardwood BaseSTAND on eBay. In March The Piper's Hardwood BaseSTAND was discovered and distributed by BlackshearOnline. Now Envision Mahogany has open its own eBay Store to distribute The Piper's Hardwood BaseSTAND and other BaseSTANDS and Accessories for Blackshear's and other collector.
He has now focused his efforts on creating new display BaseSTANDS and other Accessories for Thomas Blackshear's and other sculptures lines including Ebony Visions The Jamboree Parade The FlakeLing Talesand the Blackshear Circlemembership pieces. Because he has these sculptures on displayin in his home, he is always looking for ways to enhance and complement their beauty by creating display presentation accessories for his collection. He has introduced a Swivel BaseSTAND Kit that can be attached to any sculpture with a smooth base.
Our Mission and Products
Envision Mahogany's mission is to design and create a line of handcrafted quality display BaseSTAND and Accessories for fine collectibles. Our goal is to enhance the beauty and elegance of quality artist pieces by producing quality BaseSTANDS and display Accessories for scurpture presentation. Envision Mahogany means: Think! Quality Hardwoods!.
Wood and related materials will be the primary natural resource in which Envision Mahogany will handcraft its products. Each product produced by Envision Mahogany is individual handcrafted; therefore each one is considered an original with it's unique flaws and characteristics.
