Mr & Mrs Lem

Celebrating a Birthday
|
On the outside, we seem very "typical" - a retired school teacher and his wife, a retired accountant....but when you get to know us, you can see that we are "anything but" typical. We are grandparents, but very "young at heart".
Mr. Lem is a retired music teacher, an arranger and a professional musician. His DBA is The Greek Company Orchestra.
Mrs. Lem is an avid Ebay seller since 2001. Ephemera is her special interest.
A few years ago our lives changed dramatically. We went from being empty nesters to having Mr. Lem's elderly parents move in with us. Then, last year, we reached the point where both had to enter nursing homes. - separate ones, sadly as Dad is advanced Alzheimer's and mom is mentally OK, but cannot walk.
Dealing with the issues of caring for aging parents takes up a lot of our time, so sometimes business takes a back seat. We do strive to ship very quickly but occasionally doctor appointments and/or other emergencies prevent a trip to the post office. I do take advantage of the 24 hours self-service machine at the post office and often mail on holidays/weekends as it's right next to my 24 hour gym and supermarket!
We have some things we say every day "One day at a time", and "Never a dull moment". And finally, "THEY COULD MAKE A MOVIE HERE!". Please be patient with us as we work through this difficult time.
