Since then selling on eBay has given me the opportunity to stay home with our two children while contributing to the family income. In April of 2008, just a few days after Mike's birthday, he was unexpectedly dismissed from his job. We were devastated. Mike diligently searched for a new job for months. I worked hard on eBay, trying to make ends meet. In June, we attended eBay Live in Chicago. There, Mike was inspired to take the eBay business in a new direction, concentrating on cookware and small appliances. Every month since, has been a record month for us and business continues to grow.
