In My Mother’s  Closet From Flowerchild"~ To Wild Child~ To Having a Child Fashion is in my blood! For as long as I can remember, fashion has been the axis on which my world revolves. It started with my Grandmother, who in the 60’s & 70’s was a Window Display Manager for Stores that included Bullocks & Sears. She taught Charm School (to the dismay of my mother), and was a Fashion Show Commentator. In the 80’s she started a Personal Shopper Consulting Company, and in the 90’s began teaching college courses in Fashion Merchandising. She is now a Vintage Clothing Buyer. That brings us to my Mother! Who we lovingly refer to as INSANE (Aren’t all Creative People?) As A Child of the 60's my mother started life with a “free Spirit”. She was a baby Flower Child, Sporting Dashikis, Fringe Vests, Peasant Blouses, Mini Skirts and Caftans all made by my Grandmother, with her little feet  clad in Moccasins, Keds and Baby GO-GO Boots. Fast forward to the late 70’s thru the mid 80’s where I’m told she could be found dancing the night away a various discos (from Studio 54 on the East Coast, to Osco’s, Dillons, Disco 9000, The Candy store and Jackie O’s on the West Coast) while working long hours during the day as a Mass Market Clothing Designer. She eventually met my Dad, settled down, and became a Mother. She now owns a Vintage Clothing Resale Store.
