My New Grandson

     Hi, Thank you for visiting my page.  My Mom and Dad met during W.W. 2 in Belgium.  My Grandma also moved to the U.S. & lived with us, so I grew up speaking French & English both.  As a boy, I thought the stamps on the letters from Europe were interesting, so I started collecting.  I found items that my Mother had from overseas were also interesting, as well as a lot of my Grandma's things, & items that my Dad brought home after the War, so I started collecting a lot of STUFF.  I was in the Navy during the Vietnam War, so my travels led to more STUFF.  I was honorably discharged in 1970, but I was restless, so I had several different jobs and moved about the country for several years.  I worked as an Editor for a mapping company; I was the Superintendent of a City; and I eventually retired from my own Construction Company.  I do woodworking  (www.truebarkart.com ), & of course I still have a lot of STUFF-Antiques & Collectibles, so once in awhile I have some of these things for sale.  You have my permission to also visit me at http://360.yahoo.com/xxelkslayerxx  and take a look at some of my STUFF.
