My name Andrew Sinclair-Day. I caught the lampworking bug a few years ago when I wanted to take a beginners lampworking class at the local craft school, but had signed up too late to get in the class for that quarter. So instead I got on the phone and ordered a Hot Head torch, glasses, mandrels, and a bunch of glass, sat down and through a lot of trial and error, began making beads. A couple of years ago I ditched the Hot Head and got a National 8M Bench Burner, and moved up to an Oxygen and Propane mix. Now I'm using a Bethlehem Barracuda glass torch and an Integra 10 from Suncoast Beads. I also use a Skutt Glass Master computer controlled kiln for annealing the glass. I'm a member of the international Society of Glass Bead Makers and Wet Canvas.
In July 2004 my Seascapes Glass Sculpture won best in show at a juried exhibit at the Firehouse Art Gallery
I've been selling my work for a few years now at a bead shops at shows.
My website is ZenArtGlass.com

I use Moretti glass from Murano, Italy as well as Lauscha glass from Germany. Also Borosilicate glass from Glass Alchemy ,Northstar, Simax and Corning. All glasswork has been kiln annealed for strength and durability.
