My cactus have been growing since 1989. I
raise
Hoodia and cacti from imported seed as a hobby. There is no retail store.
Only me
and the cats. Its all good stuff that will be well
packed and shipped the next business day. Thank you! In addition to my extensive Trichocereus collection there are a few other fast growing
columnar types such as Cereus. Hoodia are rare African succulents that pretty much top the scale for rarity. Opuntias
(prickly pears) range from landscaping to the edible
Mexican nopales food type.
If you live in zone 9 you can enjoy all
these outdoors. Only in the earth will plants reach their true size and
vigor.
FedEx Ground Home Delivery
Speed: FedEx Ground promises 5 business day delivery coast to coast. FedEx NOT UPS: FedEx Ground even thought
eBay only allows UPS in their shipping calculator. 1-day order processing: Ship
the next business day after payment. Tracking: FedEx Ground will email shipping/tracking info to
you USPS? Small items such as books or seedlings may ship USPS.
That is linked to your PayPal account so you can
confirm shipping & delivery. No local pick up: My house is private property; not a retail business. 1-person business: I'm a farmer with many chores; please limit email questions? Use my website for the information you need.
• No money orders
• No private deals
• No international shipping I've been on ebay since 1998. There were
too many bad experiences with money orders. Too many
email requests for "special prices/wholesale deals"
below
market value. Too many hassles with international shipping and
Customs. I take PayPal; no money orders
I sell at auction only; no
private sales
I ship to the USA; No international shipping
That way I love my life, the cats get fed, the plants tended,
and I can sleep at night.

sacredcactus.com Gardening books
It is essential that you obtain a good gardening book in
order to learn all the ins and outs of plants. Sunset has a good line of
books available at Home Depot and Lowes. If you have a patio or deck get
their book on Container Growing. Eliot Coleman is the best source for knowledge about organic gardening.
Coleman is easy to follow, makes the theory of healthy soil = healthy
plants easy to understand.

Treat yourself to one of his books and you'll enjoy his warmth as a
person along with his practical methods.
Discovery of the North Pole
My father wrote the biography of Matthew Henson, the
man who accompanied Peary to the North Pole. My contribution has
been to create websites commemorating their achievement:
pearyhenson.org How paid propaganda perverted American History This is a fascinating situation because Peary & Henson reached
the North Pole in 1909 only to learn that a man named Cook had
faked reaching the Pole before them. Although Cook
was soon exposed as a fraud; (after raking in about US $1,000,000) he
created a traveling vaudeville show about his "Discovery of the North
Pole" that provided an income for many years. Cook later
served 6 years in Federal prison for mail fraud; but hid the
money from the Court to pass it on to his daughter. She in turn carried on the
polar hoax for decades by paying writers to publish books
declaring her criminal father the hero of the North Pole. Today, sadly, as many of the public believes Cook reached the
North Pole as believe in Big Foot and Loch Ness Monster. For the
record: The boy who faked the famous "Nessie" photo confessed
shortly before death at age 70; the family of the man who faked
the famous "Big foot" home movie held a press conference after
his death to admit the fakery. In other words both Nessie and
Big Foot were created and confessed by fakers. Similarly did Frederick
Cook perpetrate a hoax perpetuated by his family to this day.
Congressman Fess, on the record, called this "...a perversion
of American history."

Hoodia grow into 2 or 3 foot high clusters of stems. A strange
plant from South Africa's deserts.
