About myself

My name is Zack. I like to collect and repair electronics like 8-track decks, cassette decks, and reel to reel decks. I thoroughly look through those electronics to make sure they function like they're supposed to and sound like they're supposed to and repair them when needed before listing them. I put a lot of labor into repairing these units also (including cleaning, soldering, head alignment/demagnetizing, spraying switches to eliminate static, etc...).  Some of these electronics require hours and even days of long and extensive testing and repair work to be brought back to proper working order as well. Since late Sept-early Oct. 2008, due to the changes in selling fees, I no longer use bidding auctions and have permanently switch to Fixed Price auctions that have the options of Buy It Now and Best Offer. These listings are subject to cancellation at anytime if there appears to be little or no interest in them, so Buy It Now or Make your Offer early and don't wait until the last minutes to do so! The price I put on these items I list is based on the quality, the features on it, and most importantly, the functionality as well as the parts and labor. For example, if a certain electronic I list has a $200 buy it now price, it will be because of such high quality it puts out and the features on it as well as the functionality and the cost of new parts put on it (such as new drive belts, new knobs, new covers, etc...) and the labor put into repairing and testing it. I would not put such a price on that item if it did not sound that good and it did not function that well! Original asking prices are lowered if there is found to be a missing part or a disabled function on that electronic. I strive to make every customer I have happy with their purchases and I'm willing to help them out in every way. My feedback shows that I'm an honest eBayer. Bidders from Canada and overseas bidders are now accepted (some electronics may need power transformers for overseas usage which can be found at your local stores and here on eBay, so please check the item description for the voltage capability before bidding and e-mail me with any questions)!
