VISION STATEMENT
Care & Share Thrift Shoppes
will be an inspiring retail shopping experience.
We share our financial resources, our talents and our faith in Jesus Christ,
both locally and globally, through
Mennonite Central Committee.
MISSION STATEMENT
We seek to model God's love and care
for the earth and its people
through recycling efforts and
a positive shopping experience.
WHO WE ARE:
The Care and Share Thrift Shoppes started as one thrift shoppe in 1975. Leadership, contributions and a strong volunteer commitment was all provided by surrounding churches from the Franconia Mennonite Conference, Eastern District Conference and Brethren In Christ Churches.
Just as our shoppes have grown from 8,000 square feet to over 20,000 square feet, so has our group of volunteers, donors and shoppers. We are blessed to have strong relationships with our founding churches, as well as a large variety of supporters from our local community and from a variety of denominations.
The Care & Share Thrift Shoppes is an independent, non-profit organization, governed by a board of directors. We are a part of the Mennonite Central Committee Thrift Shop Network, a bi-national group of shops who supports the mission of Mennonite Central Committee.
The dollars you spend at Care & Share Thrift Shoppes will impact thousands of lives. Shop our shoppes for quality, used items at a great price. Your purchase of these goods becomes your ‘gift to the world’ through Mennonite Central Committee. Since our beginnings we have donated over nine million dollars to Mennonite Central Committee.
Thank you for bidding generously
