The Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt is a leading provider of healthcare for children, serving Middle Tennessee and beyond. Ranked 23rd in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, the freestanding non-profit children’s hospital is dedicated to serving the sickest children in the area. In addition to offering top level care, the 222 bed facility includes a variety of family accommodations as we believe children heal faster with loved ones by their side. Children’s is also a teaching facility, training many of our future’s top pediatric physicians, as well as home to internationally recognized research, helping to shape the way the nation cares for our children. This year, more than 154,000 children were seen in our clinics, over 43,000 children seen in the Emergency Department and nearly 13,000 admissions to Children’s Hospital.
